  1. This is so sweet, and thoughtful. Thanks for sharing this with us, and I hope you are doing OK on this day of meaning for you.

    Mine will be coming up later this month, when the 10th anniversary of my Mom’s death in 1997. She died the day after her birthday. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about her.

    My heart goes out to you and your family.

  3. The first anniversary of my mom’s passing was this December 17. As Mark Brooks said, there isn’t a day that I don’t remember my mom and think about the good times and feel a little sad at the hole that has been left in my universe by her death.

    All my sympathies to you on the day of the anniversary of your brother’s passing. And thanks for sharing it with us.

  6. Thanks, all. There was a local DJ who died on my brother’s birthday this week, who was the same age as my brother was when he died, and who looked so much like him that it was like seeing my brother again. Life is funny that way.
