  1. Well, today pretty much sucked except for the part where some friends invited me for a glass of wine and some pizza in the afternoon. I spent the entire day digging myself and various friends out and ushering cars out of my office’s unplowed parking lot.

    I’m a wedding celebrant, so the whole day was a bust for me. I usually count on marrying between 17 and 26 couples on Valentine’s day and usually make a big deal of clearing space on my calendar and decorating the office, etc. Unfortunately, all the local courts were closed and I didn’t do a single wedding. No money, no fun, no work really accomplished, but very nice pizza at a very fancy Italian restaurant, not to mention a decent glass of wine, so it wasn’t a total loss.

  2. Not much of a day for me, either. Tax season has a way of making one miss any holidays for a few months.

    But at least I had fun last night locating that pretty picture 😉

  3. Hey, if you are into contests there is a great contest on YouTube for Valentines Day. The contest is to create a video for the holiday. Actually its two contests, one is to make a video talking about your great love and the second is to actually do an online video proposal called “Will You Marry Me?” Here’s the URL http://www.youtube.com/greatestlovestories?cm_cid=twb8. Right now there are very few entries so you might have a good shot at winning.
