It’s been quite a while since I wrote anything about the Washington football team. There really hasn’t been much to say. The team performs poorly each week, with another loss yesterday to Philadelphia.
As a longtime fan, it’s really hard to watch the games. There’s no fun in losing. I watched through 3 quarters yesterday – and that was more than enough. I chose to use my time more wisely – studying for an exam I have Tuesday.
There’s a lot of good players out there – which is not to say that Washington doesn’t have some of them, because they do, just not enough – that make it fun to watch football. I’ve been a fan of Peyton Manning since he entered the league – hard to believe this is his 16th season! – so at least I get some pleasure still from the game.
But it would be nice if Washington could get its act together.

The entire NFC East is bad. I would not be surprised to see them send a 7-9 or 8-8 team to the playoffs.
